Hamed Hemmati

Hamed Hemmati is Co-Founder and Chief of Engineering and AI at Rainfall Health. A principal engineer and architect with more than 20 years of experience, he combines hands-on full-stack development — including building entire platforms and patented technologies from scratch — with hiring, mentoring, and scaling high-performing engineering teams.

At Rainfall, Hamed architected industry-first agentic AI systems using AWS Bedrock and Anthropic Claude for financial analysis of CMS programs, delivering insights that save partner hospitals millions of dollars. He engineered an agentic patient referral management system, built API-first healthcare systems with secure messaging, payments, scheduling, and analytics, and achieved SOC 2 audit readiness by embedding compliance controls directly into the CI/CD pipeline.

Previously he served as Head of Engineering at Griot, Director of Engineering at Valorant Health — where he invented a patented synchronous breathing-exercise system — and Principal Engineer at Atreum. At Pala, he directed IT strategy across 28 entities with a $2M annual budget, leading government IT modernization and multi-cloud adoption on AWS and GCP.

Hamed holds a B.S. in Information Technology with a minor in Mobile Development from Capella University. His technical stack spans React Native, Node.js, serverless architecture, REST and GraphQL APIs, Stripe payment workflows, and advanced AI/LLM integrations across HIPAA-compliant healthcare systems.
